Official Sponsors of FLISOL 2007 Ecuador

PaloSanto Solutions and Red Hat Inc were official sponsors of the Latin American Free Software Installation Festival (FLISOL) 2007 celebrated on April 28, 2007. The open source community was in full force on FLISOL day, which was full of the latest Linux distributions and young students eager to taste Linux for the first time.

Jose Landivar, PaloSanto Solutions Chief Marketing Officer, gave a conference talk on Elastix and IP PBX technology at the Guayaquil event. The presentation was attended by influencial open source community members who were pleased to see innovation happening in Ecuador. Luis Almeida, Chief Regional Officer of PaloSanto Solutions, gave a similar conference in FLISOL Quito, which was equally well-received.

Once again Red Hat, Inc. -- through PaloSanto Solutions -- is helping the local open source community with activities that promote the use of free software. This takes on more importance now that the Ecuadorian government has announced adherence to open source technologies.
